Students interested in applying for scholarships in 2026 can begin the process on January 1 through March 13, 2026. Applications can be submitted via the Foundation’s website — www.wapakacf.org/scholarships.
The Wapakoneta Area Community Foundation was pleased to award 199 scholarships to 99 students in 2025 totaling $349,000.
Students receiving scholarships attended ten regional high schools in Auglaize, Allen, and Shelby Counties. Students graduating from Wapakoneta High School received 64% of the scholarships. Our scholarship recipients are attending 26 different universities, colleges, and certification programs—both on campus and online.
The Wapakoneta Area Community Foundation awarded its first $600 scholarship in 1990. As of 2025, the total number of scholarships awarded was 1,929 with a total amount of $2,662,750.
