Wapakoneta Area Community Foundation Annual Campaign for Community Grants
Each year, the Foundation invites individuals, families, organizations, and businesses to make a difference in our community by investing in our Annual Community Fund Campaign.
Although the Foundation currently has more than $15 million in assets, most of the money is in restricted funds designated for specific scholarships or charitable purposes specified by the donors. The Annual Community Fund Campaign helps us to grow our unrestricted funds that allows us to invest in local people, programs, and projects.
Since the Community Fund was established in 2016, the Foundation has awarded 199 grants totaling $627,069. A list of the grants awarded this year is on back of this page.
We invite you to join us in making these annual investments in our community. Our suggested investment levels are $100, $250, $500, $1,000 or more. Your charitable investment in the Community Fund Campaign is fully tax deductible. The Foundation will provide you with the required documentation for your tax return.
We appreciate your consideration of this request and hope you will be able to join us in making more great things happen in the Wapakoneta area.
Applications for grants are accepted May 15 through June 15 and November 1-30 each year. Grants are awarded in April and October.
