Success is achieving a milestone. Everyone engaged with the Wapakoneta Area Community Foundation can take pride in the milestone it has reached this year. For more than 34 years the Foundation has been touching the lives of local students and our community. Together we can celebrate that success.
This year, another 165 scholarships totaling $243,250 were awarded. The Foundation awarded its first $1,000 scholarship in 1991. The Foundation’s milestone this year is a total of 1553 scholarships totaling $2,012,250. That is a big deal—something worth celebrating! Plus, if the Foundation continues at its current rate, it will reach $3,000,000 within four years.
