The Wapakoneta Area Community Foundation is pleased to award 165 scholarships this year. Wapakoneta High School graduates received 153 scholarships—139 to the Class of 2023 and 26 were renewal scholarships to former WHS students now in college. Twelve scholarships were awarded to students in other regional high schools including Minster, New Bremen, New Knoxville, St. Marys, Waynesfield, Lima, and Indian Lake. The Foundation currently administers 47 scholarships. The first scholarship was created in 1990 and the two most recent in 2022.
