Eagles Community Park Grant Program
Investing in our local community parks since 1996
Four Community Parks Grants were awarded from the Foundation’s Wapakoneta Eagles Aerie #691 Community Parks Fund. The grant recipients for 2023 included the following: Uniopolis Browns Youth Football Association–$3,400 for new playground equipment in the Uniopolis Veterans Park, City of Wapakoneta–$3,000 for upgrades and repairs to all field fences in Veterans Park, Village of Buckland–$2,000 to replace all equipment used by baseball teams, and Village of Cridersville–$1,600 for granite local history markers in Legacy Park. Since its creation in 1996, the Eagles Community Park Grant Program has awarded more than $246,000 in grants to improve our local community parks.
