The Wapakoneta Area Community Foundation
was created in 1989 to provide a perpetual endowment to support
worthwhile projects benefitting our community and its citizens.
Private contributions are the sole support of our Foundation.

Improving the quality of life for the people of the Wapakoneta Area now and in the future is what the Wapakoneta Area Community Foundation is all about. Established in 1989, under the guidance of Paul E. Fisher, Jr and Douglas S. Jauert, the Foundation is a permanent and growing endowment built through gifts from individuals and organizations.

The Foundation is a partnership of donors, nonprofit organizations, and the community working together to find solutions to pressing community needs. Today, it manages many individual funds, started by people from all walks of life.

By working together, the Wapakoneta Area community has built a substantial charitable foundation. Through the Wapakoneta Area Community Foundation, many local citizens have become donors and created charitable funds to benefit programs that are important to them. Each year these funds provide the resources for grants to support the services and programs of many nonprofit organizations.

To find out how you can be part of the Wapakoneta Area Community Foundation, please contact us. Whether it is helping the community through a bequest, establishing a fund now, building a family fund, creating a scholarship, or finding out how you can help the charitable organizations you care about, we can help. Additionally, if you know of a project or organizations that you think the Foundation should support, please let us know.
